A good time to visit White Sands National Monument is during the Winter months. With mild daytime temperatures and fewer park visitors the empty landscape seems even more desolate. It is a visual landscape like no other, inspiring and captivating watching the drama of the sky take place over never ending horizon of white dunes. This album was photographed one late January afternoon.
