This wilderness area lies south of Farmington, NM. It is a broad wash, an area of erosion that provides easy access to unique landscape forms...high in contrast and somewhat void of color and vegetation. This is more of a walk then a hike....but a long walk as the wash is 1/2 mile wide and even a mile wide in places!
