Texas has been very wet and green this spring/summer of 2015...record so. Just an hour south of Kerrville is the enchanting LOST MAPLES STATE PARK. It host some fantastic scenery and hiking trails, esp in the Fall and month of November. I went out for the hiking in June and was so taken by how much water was in the park along with the vivid green vegetation everywhere.
