A winter time visit to Texas' Big Bend National Park is recommended....if you are lucky as I was maybe you'll catch a day with some snowfall to go along with the pleasant 70 degree weather that is more typical! I absolutely love THE BIG BEND....I anticipate that I'll be going back a couple times a year going forward for quite sometime. Not just for the hiking...but the diverse landscape of river canyon, high desert and mountain scape....all blanketed under an enormously clear, Texas sized Night Sky!
